Education: A Sustainable Resource

Please join us for our 18th National Conference, "Education: A Sustainable Resource," November 18-19 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro Hotel.

The conference will kick off at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 with an opening plenary session featuring keynote speaker Scott Paul, Executive Director of The Alliance For American Manufacturing.

The remainder of the day will feature workshops and an evening reception. Friday will consist of a morning plenary and another round of workshops.

Please note that upon the adjournment of normal conference activities ICD will be hosting a supplemental session on Friday, Nov. 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on Millennials in the Workplace and will be a joint presentation between the USW Communications Department and The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL). This session is designed for those participants who are able to stay over in Chicago. ICD has arranged with the hotel to extend the conference rate through the weekend. We look forward to welcoming all who choose to attend.

The Advisory Board, Governing Board and Union-Only meetings are all scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17.
